The texts written below are actually journal excerpts from my ‘morning pages’ journal. I follow Julia Cameron’s style of writing journal. She is really famous because of her phenomenal book ‘The Artist’s Way’. Her writings is slowly helping me to sort out my life as a creative person.

I don’t own this photo. I downloaded it from Google. I like it and I am glad that I am finally using it. It was just one photo. The editing is my spin on it. ❤

Just because it’s called ‘Healing’, the transformation process is not a fairy tale. At the middle, it’s actually more painful. Just like any physical wound; treating it requires some sort of extreme pain to begin the healing process!

It’s not a smooth sail. It’s actually requires being willing to join the storm in order to reach at the center - After long days of being in denial, facing how much I was and am responsible for violating myself, deciding to leave ‘the blame game’. This ride demands all the courage you can assemble. It’s rough as hell, and yet it’s worth traveling through the darkest valleys.

Healing is shown as some highly romanticized process in the regular culture. It is highlighted like after someone is coming into your life, his/her effects/influences is making the changes. The truth is they do play a role in the process. They can only trigger you, that’s their limit. The real shit get done actually inside the owner of the experiences.

Inside job it is, you finally choosing to come to terms with yourself - that’s when you begin to feel the peace. You choose healing for yourself. You forgive yourself. You stop rejecting yourself. You stop hating yourself. You begin accepting your perfectly imperfect self. It’s you - it’s never somebody else. You decide to choose to accept the understanding rather than keep denying it in a forever loop.

That’s when healing starts to unfold its magic.
